You do not know precisely the mode of action of the medicines you prescribe
This is also often reproached to homeopaths. I do admit I do not know how the remedy prescribed works precisely, but I do know the law that helps me find the remedy: the law of similars. In physics, Newton’s laws, defined three centuries ago, enable to describe with which intensity two celestial bodies are attracted to one another: it is the law of universal gravitation. But up to today, nobody has explained why these bodies are attracted to one another. In homeopathy, the Hahnemann’s law of similars, defined two centuries ago, enables the determination of the curative remedy. But up to today, nobody has explained why such a remedy cures the patient.
However, the mode of action of dynamisation will, for sure, be deciphered by science one day.
Until then, we can try to cure patients… which is our sole duty as physicians.
