Hyaluronic acid (Teosyal)

This major product can be used alone or combined in most of the cases. We have tried most of the products available on the market and have finally chosen years ago the products of the TEOXANE laboratory. This laboratory has just received the 2008 Award of the best injectable product

Two syringes will generally be needed. The first one will remodel the upper cheeks and correct the tear trough. The second one will fill in other facial lines such as the nasolabial fold. Light cases sometimes only require one syringe..

We highlight the relevance of a preventive intervention, which can be indicated from the age of 35. Then, a syringe per year will largely suffice to maintain tissue elasticity and to avoid deep furrows.

Typically, a “consolidation syringe” is injected 3 to 6 months after the first session so as to guarantee effective results up to 9 to 12 months. Then, a session per year will suffice to maintain the results. Click here to discover our Combined injectable packages.

Hyaluronic acid moisturization

Instead of spending loads of money in cosmetic creams with uncertain effects, it is much easier to give the skin the hyaluronic acid it lacks. Such is the principle of action of the HYDRATATION MESO hyaluronic acid. The treatment is easy to perform. A very fluid solution of hyaluronic acid (contrarily to that used to restore volumes which is very thick) is injected with a microfine needle under the skin.

The treatment thus consists in micro injections just under the skin surface. The complexion brightens up immediately, the moisturization is intense, the results last 6 to 9 months. Radiesse

This product is our favourite in the treatment of cases requiring significant remodeling. Age induces cheek sagging, which must be treated using a well-tolerated and long-lasting product.

Patients often ask us to correct a deep nasolabial fold, but we will explain in most cases that the volume of the cheeks must be restored first, so as not to treat the nasolabial fold uselessly.

The Radiesse treatment is extremely precise, as the practitioner must inject the exact quantity of product needed at the exact depth, and create support "beams". Radiesse is the product of choice in the case of patients presenting with sagging cheeks resulting in a very deep nasolabial fold, or if volume loss at the chin level is so important that the face is not oval anymore.

The Radiesse syringe is more expensive than that of hyaluronic acid, but its total cost is lower, as the effects of the Radiesse last 1 year at least, sometimes two in most favourable cases (areas where muscles are not used much). Click here to discover our Combined injectable packages.

Botox (Vistabel)

It is the best product to treat areas that cannot be treated with injections: the forehead, the crow’s feet, the frown lines. We have become less suspicious with time, and now believe that the botulinum toxin is completely innocuous. However, the principle of precaution should not be forgotten, and we always explain to our patients that there can be an unknown medical risk, even at very low doses. It is important for patients to be informed on botox before initiating a treatment.

Results are spectacular, notably on delicate areas such as the crow’s feet. The eyes and the “zen” effect obtained are very satisfying. The practitioner’s skill will consist in injecting the necessary and sufficient quantity of toxin. The goal is to smooth the wrinkles and most of all not to paralyze facial expressions. Fractional Laser Resurfacing and Peeling

Each task requires specific equipment! The products we have just talked about enable the treatment of facial lines and volumes. And what about the skin texture itself?

Before the creation of fractional technology, the results of facial injections often seemed incomplete. The physician was frustrated as he could not correct the aspect of the skin after having restored facial volumes.

While the injections of moisturizing hyaluronic acid provided a first solution by improving the complexion durably, the laser AFFIRM MULTIPLEX finally permitted us to carry out the resurfacing our patients were waiting for.

The fractional technology was initiated by the FRAXEL company with a relatively efficient laser but at a prohibitive cost for many patients. The new line of machines has overcome the disadvantages of first generation machines, and has significantly improved the clinical results.

The fractional laser marks a remarkable advance in resurfacing by focusing on the two main points to treat: the skin surface affected by the sun and the deep dermis so as to correct the aging collagen that does not support tissues anymore.

As soon as the first session, the skin gets smoother and the tissues are retightened. A 5-session treatment, with sessions spaced of approximately a month each, will suffice in most cases to obtain optimal results that will last for years.

Another advantage: the social eviction met with old ablative CO2 or Erbium lasers can be avoided. The appearance of skin redness – just like a sunburn - after the session is both normal and a good sign. The redness disappears after a dozen hours.

However, remember that sun exposure is contraindicated because of sunburn risks (as in laser hair removal).

GLOBAL CARE PACKAGES

Years of experience treating patients have shown us that global care is required in nearly all cases so as to obtain durable and natural results.

Injectable products focus on main volume or deep wrinkles defects. The fractional laser restores the skin surface itself and improves the elasticity of tissues so as to retighten them.

These two techniques are complementary and most patients will need BOTH.
